The Model YCW is a carbon steel Y strainer (wye strainer) that can be used in applications for steam, water, oil, or gas where protection from foreign matter in a pipeline is required.  The YCW1 is 150# class, the YCW2 is 300# class, and the YCW3 is 600# class.  For flanged ends, see the Model YCF.

They are constructed from carbon steel, and have weld ends machined to match schedule 40 pipe for YCW1/2, and schedule 80 pipe for YCW3.  Perforated 304 stainless steel screens are welded along the seam for maximum strength.  If the media is not specified, screens for steam will be supplied.  Options include epoxy coating and galvanizing, special flange drilling, and the addition of magnets. 

Non-Shock Working Pressure for the YCW1 is 150psi at 565F for steam, 285psi at 100F for water, gas, and oil (WOG).   The YCW2  is 300psi at 838F for steam, 740psi at 100F for WOG.  The YCW3  is 600psi at 1125F for steam, 1440psi at 100F for WOG.
